Creativity runs deeply within my family lineage originating from Colombia, South America. Our story is one of diverse pursuits, from laboring to shape cities brick by brick to the delicate artistry of police sketching. Both rebels and explorers, my family journeyed to the United States where they were warmly embraced by supportive communities despite arriving with little knowledge of this new land.
My father, an aspiring artist with dreams of interpreting for the United Nations, made numerous sacrifices, working tirelessly at two jobs throughout my upbringing to ensure I could pursue my own artistic ambitions. His guidance not only taught me the craft of drawing and writing but also instilled in me a profound appreciation for a life dedicated to artistry—a path he yearned to tread himself.
Driven by this legacy, I embarked on a bold venture a decade ago: creating a comic book series centered on Lucifer inhabiting the body of Jesus Christ to navigate the depths of Hell. What began as a lofty ambition has culminated in Volume One nearing completion, with the ninth issue currently undergoing final edits.
In parallel, my creative journey expanded into filmmaking, marked by the premiere of two short films at the Pickford Cinema in Bellingham, WA. From scriptwriting and directing to editing and acting, I took on multifaceted roles to bring these visions to life. Encouraged by the success and recognition of various film festivals, I am now immersed in producing a new project—a horror/drama narrative chronicling a family’s pursuit of vampires.
Through it all, I cherish the friendships forged with fellow creatives who have supported me steadfastly since the outset of my career. Their unwavering encouragement and camaraderie fuel my determination to persist in this dynamic and fulfilling artistic journey.
If you made it this far, thank you, now be free!
